Lingxue Kong was awarded his PhD from the University of New South Wale in Australia in 1997. One of his research interests lies on the development of nanomaterials for colorectal cancers by incorporating targeting reagents to improve the efficacy of drugs. He has published more than 245 scientific articles in leading international journals with a citation of more than 5500 and a h-indexof 41.
The principle interests of Len's research are organic synthesis including: (i) the reactivity of biomass-derived molecules (glycerol, fatty acids, lignin, cellulose) for the formation of new chemical bonds
