Jorge Loredo, Dr. Mining Engineering, has his expertise in environmental geochemistry associated to abandoned mine sites, risk assessment and restoration processes. Currently he is Professor of Mining and Environmental Exploration in the School of Mining, Energy and Materials Engineering of the University of Oviedo (Spain). Leader researcher in national and international research projects in the field of geochemistry of mine wastes and mine water, environmental and risk assessment and management. He has been author or coauthor of papers in reference publications, and Chairman of International Conferences.
