Al-Tel received his MS in Natural Product Chemistry in 1990 from the Department of Chemistry, Jordan University and Pennsylvania State University, and PhD in 1995 from Tuebingen University-Germany followed by an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship under the supervision of Professor Scott Sieburth, at State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY.
The research of AlTel is at the interface between biology and chemistry. AlTel focus area is drug design and discovery employing DOS for the synthesis of nature-inspired architectures.
